Kilby packaging are seeking a Purchasing Compliance Officer to join our team at our Hollywood Branch.
This is a new and exciting role ideal for someone looking to expand their skill set and grow their knowledge and understanding of purchasing compliance and business accreditations. Prior experience is not essential for the right candidate as full training will be provided.
The role involves providing purchasing administration support including:
- Obtaining prices, placing purchase orders, and chasing deliveries.
- Ensuring systems and processes are implemented and maintained to ensure compliance with Government packaging regulations and other registrations.
- Dealing with customer questionnaires and tenders.
- Arranging supplier’s assessments, collating, and maintaining data sheets, product sustainability and environmental documentation.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have an enthusiasm for expanding their business knowledge whilst developing their role and learning new things.
- Have a keen eye for detail, be accurate, very organised, and capable of dealing with large amounts of information and data.
- Be a strong communicator and able to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Be accommodating and helpful to ensure all colleagues are supported.
